Location: Youth For Tomorrow, 11835 Hazel Circle Drive, Bristow, VA
Time: Drop-off 7 am—8:30am; Pick Up 4 pm—6 pm
If you have a middle school student (rising 6th thru 9th grader), consider applying for the Leadership Prince William Summer Youth Academy. This unique, two-week summer program includes amazing field trips, a chance to learn about possible career paths, hands-on learning to develop leadership and communication skills, and a lot of fun.
The Leadership Prince William Youth Academy is a two-week summer program to help students develop lifelong leadership skills, connect with other young leaders and learn about their community. The program provides hands-on learning, community field trips, connection with adult leaders and leadership skill development.
This program will be held at the Youth For Tomorrow Campus in Bristow, VA.
Academy topics range from Economic Development & Planning to Education, Arts & Culture, Public Safety, Communications and more. The program provides hands-on learning, community field trips, meeting with adult community leaders and leadership skill development.

Highlights include field trips/activities such as:
- Public Safety: Tour the PWC Fire & Rescue training facility (can include fire truck simulators, K9 and SWAT team demos)
- History & Government: Mock trial at the PWC Circuit Court with the attorney general’s office
- Tour of Occoquan Historic sites with former Mayor Porta
- Money Know-How: Makin’ It Real, Building a Budget
- STEM Education: Tour of Micron Technology
- Your Thinking Preference: Total Emergenetics STEP analysis.
