Chidera Anumudu, MSW
I am very passionate about providing high quality mental health services to individuals who have experienced trauma and have been diagnosed with a mental illness. I primarily work with children and adolescents but I am more than happy to work with adults. My specialties include Anxiety, depression, Trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and behavioral difficulties. My goal is to provide a safe space where individuals can begin the healing process and to gain skills and coping mechanisms to manage their mental illness and daily life challenges. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, Baking, listening to music, and watching television. |

James Craft, RIC
I believe that, regardless of the challenges one might face, one always possesses some positive attributes worthy of admiration and respect. I am a firm believer in the importance of encouragement and hope, and I try to foster these things in those with whom I work. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Person-Centered and Narrative Therapy. The thoughts and stories that we tell ourselves are powerful motivators in our lives, for good or ill, and changing these beliefs can result in a change within ourselves. In my off time, I engage in such geeky pursuits such as board games. I also enjoy taking in the beauty of nature by hiking in the forests of Virginia. In a more urban setting, I enjoy walking around DC and taking in the wonderful attractions this historic city has to offer. |
